Without breath, you are not practicing yoga. When your breath is easy, smooth and balanced, your mind reflects these same qualities. Something happens when we can change the way we breathe. We feel better, more relaxed, calm and present. In this practice we will artfully link alignment, breath and awareness as a gesture of self-inquiry. Learn how to take your yoga practice to the next level, advance your asana practice, deepen your meditation practice, and take control on effecting change in your life. This practice includes lecture, asana, pranayama, and meditation.
Saturday, 4:00-5:30p Restore Your Vital Essence
The world is constantly changing…and we are just trying to keep up. You have major FOMO: fear of missing out. Not just missing out on the best powder lines but fear of missing out on everything, so you fill all of your time with activities and things TO DO. All of this movement, momentum and activity has left you so wound up that you do not know how to NOT do. When in balance this type of energy is the most potent driver of creativity, but when out of balance it is major burn out. All of your life-force dries up, you suffer from anxiety, insomnia, anxiousness and a general feeling of lack. If this sounds even remotely familiar then this is the class for you. This practice is holistically oriented to the over-active practitioner to learn to restore the vital essence of OJAS, the nectar of life, patience and protection. Learn how to be the master alchemist of your inner and outer experience. Learn how to rejuvenate your body, mind and spirit so that you can continue doing everything that you do from your fullest reserve. This practice includes a short lecture gentle asana, pranayama and meditation.
